Escape Game

Understanding Begins with Curiosity.

Exchange at eye level – the escape game creates an environment for communication, enjoyment, and practical learning.

Challenge

Consultation Becomes a Black Box.

The demand for heat pumps is growing. This is positive for the planet, and also beneficial for Vaillant, even though it increases sales pressure. Craftspeople often find it challenging to confidently explain modern, digital products they are unfamiliar with—such as a new air/water heat pump. The result: insecurity hampers consultation and barriers impact sales figures. What is needed is training that sparks curiosity, makes knowledge accessible, and ensures confident advising. At the same time, it supports driving the energy transition forward through competence that boosts sales.

Solution

Understanding Begins with Curiosity.

The product as an escape game: training through exploration. To understand, one must experience.

The new air/water heat pump becomes the arena for the "Race for Climate", an interactive Vaillant training experience that translates technical knowledge into real-world action. Skilled trade professionals take on the role of agents tackling climate change, solving challenges that can only be completed through hands-on product interaction. A companion app guides learners through the game, offering puzzles, providing context, and unlocking deeper insights. The real highlight: participants experience the product firsthand by opening, inspecting, and operating it, naturally deepening their understanding along the way. Coded clues hidden inside and surprising details ensure every step exercises technical problem-solving, highlights key features, and breaks down barriers. Storytelling, technology, and training work together seamlessly, making complex systems easy to grasp while boosting employee engagement.

Learn through play, make informed decisions – participants navigate the mission through the interactive chat.
